8-Day Kenya Safari Circuit

Day 1: Arrival in Nairobi & Drive to Amboseli National Park 

On arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, meet your professional safari guide and begin your journey south toward Amboseli National Park. The drive introduces Kenya’s diverse landscapes before arriving at your lodge around midday. 
After lunch and check-in, enjoy an afternoon game drive across open plains known for large elephant herds, buffalo, and abundant plains game, with Mount Kilimanjaro forming a dramatic backdrop. 

Overnight: Mid-range lodge such as Ol Tukai Lodge or Kibo Safari Camp (subject to availability) 
Meals: Lunch, Dinner 

Day 2: Amboseli Safari Experience 

An early morning game drive offers prime wildlife viewing as animals gather near seasonal swamps. Amboseli is renowned for its elephant populations, but sightings may also include lions, cheetahs, and hyenas. 
Return to the lodge for breakfast and enjoy a relaxed afternoon, with the option of a sunset game drive or a cultural visit to a nearby community.

Day 3: Amboseli to Lake Naivasha – Great Rift Valley 

After breakfast, depart Amboseli and travel through the dramatic Great Rift Valley, arriving at Lake Naivasha in time for lunch. 
In the afternoon, enjoy a guided boat safari across the lake, followed by a guided walking safari on Crescent Island, where giraffes, antelope, and zebras roam freely in a scenic, predator-free environment. 

Overnight: Lake Naivasha Sopa Lodge or Crescent Camp

Day 4: Lake Naivasha to Lake Nakuru National Park 

This morning, continue to Lake Nakuru National Park, famous for its conservation success and diverse birdlife. 
An afternoon game drive introduces the park’s highlights, including black and white rhinos, Rothschild giraffes, and seasonal flamingo populations along the lake’s alkaline shores. 

Overnight: Sarova Lion Hill Lodge or Flamingo Hill Camp

Day 5: Lake Nakuru to Maasai Mara National Reserve 

Depart early for the Maasai Mara National Reserve, Kenya’s most celebrated safari destination. Arrive at your camp or lodge for lunch before heading out on an afternoon game drive across vast savannahs. 
This first Mara safari often delivers excellent predator sightings, including lions, cheetahs, and leopards. 

Overnight: Ashnil Mara Camp, Fairmont Mara Safari Club, or Mara Leisure Camp 
Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner 

Days 6 & 7: Maasai Mara – Big Five Safari Experience 

Spend two full days exploring the Maasai Mara with morning and afternoon game drives. The reserve is home to the Big Five and hosts the Great Migration between July and October, when millions of wildebeest and zebras cross the Mara River. 
Optional activities include a hot air balloon safari, guided nature walks, or a visit to a Maasai village arranged through community partnerships. 

Overnight: Ashnil Mara Camp, Fairmont Mara Safari Club, or Mara Leisure Camp

Day 8: Final Game Drive & Return to Nairobi 

Enjoy a final early morning game drive before breakfast, capturing the golden light over the Mara plains. 
After breakfast, depart for Nairobi, arriving by midday. Optional lunch arrangements can be made before transfer to your hotel or international departure.
